Marc Holzman | Ayurveda meets Asana: Five Kosha Hygiene

  • Creature Yoga Town Studio 2/142 Bangalow Road Byron Bay, NSW, 2481 Australia (map)

How do we achieve true wellness in our current era? Ayurveda and Yoga, inseparable sister sciences, merge seamlessly to provide answers to this ageless question. Proper alignment in our poses (Hatha Yoga) is critical for a safe and effective practice. Proper alignment with Nature’s Rhythms (Ayurveda) is critical for our overall well-being and ability to grow old gracefully. When these two are in synch, you become an unstoppable force of nature. In these two sessions, Ayurveda philosophy will be skillfully woven into a sequence of Hatha flow, breathwork, mantra and Yoga Nidra; practices to welcome you home into each and every cell, and fully into the space that surrounds you. Welcome to your best self.

Five Kosha Hygiene

After a short lecture on how to cleanse all FIVE of our bodies (koshas), we’ll dive in to deep, nourishing forward folds and hip openers and conclude with a delicious Yoga Nidra to soothe and regenerate your spirit.
