This workshop series is designed to help bring practitioners into a state of flow. We'll be working in arenas in the body that are proven to relate to optimal states of flow similar to musicians being in the pocket or athletes being "in the zone". There will be asana, meditation, free movement and partner work, all with the intention of delivering us into the state of flow that creates an easeful, optimal dance through life.
Described as the space between breaths, the gap between thoughts, the Madhya is like the darkness of the night sky that holds the brilliance of the stars. In this opening class we will move through a slow flow of shapes and forms from the space of the middle to create a fluid meditative space in the vocabulary of form.
