These simple yet profound practices can be incorporated into your daily practice, adding more depth and a sense of connection. They can aid health and mental problems to dissipate and allow more energy, vitality, success and abundance into your life.
The heart, which represents our emotional aspect, can often be overflowing or depleted of emotions. Just like the practises of Hatha yoga bring balance and harmony to the physical body, so do the practices of Bhakti yoga bring balance and harmony to the heart and emotions.
Ohad Rein is a yoga teacher, meditation instructor, kirtan singer, music therapy workshop facilitator, producer, writer, composer and performer. He is a full Diploma graduate of the Academy of Yoga Science (formally Satyananda Yoga Academy Australia). He has been teaching for over five years and practicing various yoga styles for over 15 years.
Ohad regularly leads Kirtan, Bhajan and Nada Yoga sessions. These are powerful practices that touch on the devotional aspect of Yoga (Bhakti), and blend music & singing with chanting Mantras and the different names of the Divine. Ohad is also known for his diverse music projects, mainly Old Man River, his solo project that saw him releasing albums to worldwide acclaim. He recently moved up to the Byron Shire with his wife and two daughters.
